What we collect

When you create an account, we store your name, your email address, and your password (encrypted — we never see it). Everything you add to Muddle — your recipes, meal plans, and any notes — is stored and linked to your account.

We don’t use advertising, analytics platforms, or third-party tracking. We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with anyone.

Cookies

We use two cookies, both essential to the app working:

• profile_id — keeps you signed in. Without it, you’d be signed out every time you closed the browser. It persists until you sign out or clear your cookies.
• cookie_consent — remembers that you’ve dismissed the cookie notice, so we don’t show it to you again.

We don’t use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. No third parties set cookies on this site.

Why we store it

So the app works. Your recipes and meal plan need to live somewhere.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. When you do, everything goes: your profile, your recipes, your meal history. We don’t keep backups of deleted accounts.

Your rights

You can export everything we hold on you at any time from your profile page. You can delete your account from the same place. Both work immediately.
